Three years ago I fell for "the marketing plan." They told me they could reduce the interest rates on my csredit cards and get the card companies to settle for much less than I actually owed. That sounded good to me but not "too good to be true." As many did, I authorized them to charge one of my cards for $990.
Yesterday, 06-06-11, my wife got a call from a Mr. Benton Doyle who said he was with Cleaer Breeze Solutions. He stated that since his company had not been able to get my debt reduced, Federal Law required him to return my $990. He further stated that the company had tried to deposit the refund into my checking account but had been told that the account was closed.
All Mr. Doyle needed to mail a refund check to me was: 1) to speak to me personnally, 2) a photo copy of my I.D. and 3) my mailing address. He left his phone number and said the company would be open until 8p.m. Upon calling the number that evening I got a recording that said "a mail box had not been set up by the number's owner."
I decided to do a little research on the computer. Using a reverse phone directory I discovered that the number belonged to a cell phone in Yazoo, Mississippi and that there was no listing for a Benton Doyle. Not bad for a company supposedly located in Smyrna, Georga huh? Well, today, 06-07-11, I decided to call one more time. This time the automated message I received said "the number syou are calling cannot be reached." After all this I have one question: How do you spell attempted identity theft?

I too am a "victim" of Clear Breeze solutions except they had enough information to promise me the refund and proceed with charging almost $10, 000 of charges on my credit card. This has been dismissed and I am not liable. My contact was a Shawn Andrews at 1-800-847-2911 and when you call this number back it states it is a Visa company and I was to choose the"refund department. This card is cancelled and all seems o.k. thus far from my end aside from feeling like someone is now listening in on my land line phone calls since the refund also included them paying one month of my telephone bill (yes they got my phone account number :(. Please be careful everyone!!

I can not reach Clearbreeze Solutions. It's been four years that I have been paying monthly through our checking Account.. Are they out of business? How do I get out from under them, ?.
