I bought a databases of BUSINESSES. Instead, many of the entries were
for charities, government offices, schools, churches and other non
profit organizations. Scam 2:

[email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Just like the email addresses in this example, many contacts have this sort of email addresses and, of course, forgery after forgery, they complete 1 million email addresses. Many email addresses are random entries that are not connected to any company name or contact person, defeating the purpose of a list. In addition, email addresses are provided in a file that is separate from the file that contains contact names, so it takes longer to the database operator to merge it and figure out that it is a scam. This kind of practice hurts the confidence of thousands of honest merchants who could, otherwise, receive emails that could help them in this bad economy. Instead, their in box could receive a swarm of emails from the same sender, converting honest and well intended companies into spammers. The company hasn't done anything but send me the same file, over and over, as their way of fixing it. Their customer service operators keep referring me to the complaints department, whom I have previously emailed with no success. I now have to salvage some information from this database and validate it, because I am afraid that some of the phone numbers and addresses are fake too. Protect your business and your customers by avoiding these malpractices that hurt and prevent good business relationships from existing. Nobody likes spammers! | I am extremely unhappy with the 'service' provided by CustomLists.net. I purchased two databases on Australian primary and secondary schools in March and used the fax numbers to fax all Australian schools. More than 50% (FIFTY PER CENT) of the numbers were wrong. In some cases, there were no fax numbers at all. In others, the fax numbers were from another school. I checked the addresses and other details and they were also terribly incorrect. I was given the royal runaround with "Customer service' who never provided satisfaction. In my experience, any data from this company should be treated with extreme caution. I just called Customer Service to ask for a Tax Invoice, which is required under Australian taxation law, but they said I should use my credit card statement, which is not acceptable. Dodgy! |

I have heard nothing but poor reviews. Unfortunately, it is too late. I spent thousands on Call Agents to results of 73% error rate with the list provided by this un customer friendly sad excuse for a company. They refuse to answer my inquires. They advised me that they last updated 1 month ago yet with an error rate like that solely on based on phone numbers which is easy to obtain, there is no way the rate can be that high. I believe my list was from 1990s. Their guarantee of a free update may sound fair however, it is useless and you won't even want one from them as obviously they do not update. They guarantee accuracy but when you question them about it, they say that they don't guarantee any amount of accuracy.
Their business practices are quite suspicious and can be believed criminal. If you are seeking a Canadian Business List and considering them as a source, save yourself some headaches and money! Go with another provider or even just email me and I will send you what they sent me so atleast you do not have to waste money on their list.
However, I do not guarantee the list is accurate as it is from them... lol |

Check out the company names used on CustomLists.net own reviews - they don't exist because I have tried to call them.

DO NOT USE CUSTOMLISTS.NET, the list we paid for was 14 YEARS out of date, with some people having died in the meantime – totally damaged our company’s reputation. We took them to the Harrogate County Court and successfully won a County Court Judgment against them (CCJ)- Case Ref. 1HG02923 but we’ve never received payment from them as they only have a drop mail address in the UK – ie no proper office so we can’t enforce the Judgment against them.

Recently I purchassed a business email list for USA, I ordered a customized list, unfortunately when I received the list I was chocked! my business is in energy and the content in the list was painters, musician, churches... I emailed them probably 20 times to resend me another list or send me my refund.
Got nothing! waisted my money.
Though their customer service is excellent, when you email them or call them, they will respond nicely and fast : '' Well sorry, we are working on customizing your list be patient, you will receive your list soon"
Once the get your money, you done.
Do not buy from this company, do not waist your time and money! do not let them fool you with their 50% off promotions. |

I have purchased on two occasions Australian Business Lists. They have way too many duplicates within their own data, and too much redundant data. For example petrol stations that are vacant lots or now have buildings on them... must be 5 years + out of date.
Besides that, for $200 it was of some value for in person follow up. In terms of the accuracy of phone numbers etc, I'm not sure.
There is competition out there for other lists so I recommend spending more money... |

Instant Download right? WRONG! Its big SCAM company they will take ur money and won't deliver your list, and when you chat with them they keep copy paste the same scam templates they have regarding verifying your account.
STAY AWAY and don't trust them. I had to cancel my credit card right the way. Dealing with them was big mistake and never again. |
