These SCAM artists will check you in and take your insurance card MISLEADING you to think that they accept insurance. Once your examination is complete, they will tell you they don't accept any insurance and send you an outrageous bill for their services. What kind of legitimate medical office takes NO insurance? I called to inquire only to be yelled at and hung up on by Joni Chattman.Legal actions are in place to make sure that this business goes under. They have no place in the legitimate medical field.They are located in Carefree AZ, no doubt they set up shop in Carefree so they can prey on the elderly and take advantage in any way they can.What kind of crackerjack scam is the Chattman family running?These people have been reported to Arizona Attorney Generals Office, the BBB, the AMA, the FDA.

I looked at this post before considering using Dr. Chapmann and after some hesitation decided to give them a chance anyway because he was recommended by a neighbor. What i found was this:
1. they do talk about the insurance issue upfront with patients - and why they don't accept some insurances (because they are slow to pay, and all the other reasons why people hate insurance companies)
2. I was looking for a doctor that didn't refer me out to several places for some minor thing - i.e. go here for bloodwork, go there for an x-ray - go to a dermatologist to get this little thing removed - which as a busy professsional woman - i find maddening!!! Because i just pay them directly, i can get everything done in one visit. I have been to dr. chappman three times now, and i have found him giving me sound advice - andmore importantly, he is not a pill or botox pusher as i have found with other doctors i have tried in the area.
3. Compentence and caring environment - I have lived in this area for 11 years, and i wish i had found dr.. chapmann 11 years ago - it would have saved me a lot of time AND i would have gotten better healthcare advice.
