This is my second email to you. I was directed to write to you by one of your account managers. He reassured me I would receive a satisfactory reply. I never received a reply to my first email so here I go again. I am a dissatisfied consumer of your product. I initially switched to your company in November of 2010. I accepted the terms offered at the time and agreed to a contract. However the reason I did this was because your salesperson guaranteed I would be able to watch baseball on SNY. I was told you carried SNY and I could get my baseball. This is the only reason I signed with the Dish. Mind you I was aware of the paucity of programming you had, especially in this region. I knew I would lose the Knicks, Rangers, Devils, Islanders and Yankees along with anything else New York, but not the Mets. You carry absolutely nothing when it comes to sports unless I shell out additional money, but I was told you would carry SNY and clearly I was misled. So now I am missing the season and paying for an inferior product. I tried calling but your people on the phone are refusing to hear my argument. Their line is "you signed a contract..." I signed a contract for good programming, specifically one channel that you have chosen not to air any longer. Let me repeat this I signed a contract because even though I would lose everything else I could watch SNY. I want to terminate my contract with you now. This is bad customer service. This is ripping someone off. I don't want any fees incurred on me as you clearly are not providing what you promised and I believe I have a right not to pay for services not rendered. I have gladly paid my bills and I have never had a problem with any company before, including you, and if I didn't pay you or provided my side of this agreement you would hold me accountable and go after me with a collection agency. Now I would appreciate some accountability on your part and let me terminate my contract so I can sign with a new provider who actually does care about their customers or at least carries some relevant programming in this region. It is wrong to lure a customer with false promises, (and if it was an irresponsible act of one sale person you are still accountable for having an unethical person selling your product.) It is not hard for you to break this contract. You will always get your money in the end. It may seem trivial to you however enjoying a baseball game with my wife and kids is important to me. The bottom line is you are not doing right by a customer and you can easily rectify it by terminating my contract.

Me too, I got screwed up by this corporation. Likewise, the sales person told when I tolked with her that For the first time that it was a 1 year contract, and 25 dollars a month. But it turned out to be a 2 years contract, and worse, now I am paying 36 a month. Concelation fee is over 400 dollars. I want to sue them but I have no idea from where to start.
