Dish Network No Trial Period = We Have Bad Service and Now You're Stuck! Bend, Internet

Dish Network is not #1. I admit I was naive to believe what I was told by the "salesman" on my first call. With further exploration of the service after the technician had left and the contract had been signed, it was discovered that the service was blurry, NOT HD quality and that not all the channels promised were included in the package. This included only standard def of all the local channels.

When I call the next day to cancel due to the poor quality I was told there was no "trial period" and I was stuck with it. This was extremely upsetting as the cancellation fee is $450. It is not right to force someone into a 2-year contract without allowing them to try the product.

Dish Network is SCAM!

I have not given up and will continue to call and complain. It's pretty bad to already be unhappy with a service that I was insured was the best in the country after the first day and have no recourse to cancel.

They say you get the channels you want and that is total B.S. you have to pay more for the channels you want. They were working on the wiring in the basement and somehow knocked the dryer vent off and 6 leather jackets, winter boots and a dress that cost me a few hundred dollars, they said it was not their fault the my stuff got all molded, I wish i could find a lawyer to take the case $3.000 loss because of their mistake. I am locked into contract other wise i would not have their service. It is always going out then you have to wait for it to come back on just a pain in the ass. There should be a way to break the contract if you have a good reason or for them BSing people.
