i was talked into an intrest only loan and signed with this company several years ago around 2006. I have since had nothing but the run around with emc who constantly finds reasons to put me on hold when i call asking for explanitions of charges or how i can convert my loan to a conventional loan. everytime i call and ask if the person on the other end can answer detailed loan info they say yes and put me through all sorts of questions just to find out that that person can not answer the questions and transfer me to another and the entire process starts all over again!!!! i was even questioning refi at one point and they would not tell me if it was an option until i was current but would borrow against my own note to bring me totally current and see i i would qualify, but if not then the money i borrowed against my own loan would become a baloon payment due if i failed to qualify.... hmmm. u mean to tell me that someone cant take my finincial info and see if i qualify without making me borrow from my own loan and face a several thousand dollar balloon pmt if they deny me ??? I dont think so.. what about a statement i recieved the other day listing charges i have never seen on my monthly statement going back to 2006 regarding inspection fees or a monthly charge for deferment ?? whats that about ?? this company is terrible !!!!!!
