Emporio Fashion Roberto Approached by 'Roberto' in a car park in Limassol, Cyprus, saying he had some surplus large leather jackets from an exhibition

I was approached in a supermarket park by 'Roberto' representing 'Emporio Fashion' of Milan in Italy. he had some surplus large Leather Jackets & suggested they would fit me. regrettably, I was in fact wanting to buy one. Having tried one on I was prepared to make a purchase. At this point he said he had a plane to catch, hand in & pay for his hire car. He had a some more stock he wished to sell & didn't want to take it back on the plane as he would be over weight! He produced 4 jackets, 8 shirts (all packed in boxes) 8 ties & 8 matching hankerchiefs. Much negotiating went on, as I really only wanted the one coat. I finally succumbed & bought the lot, thinking I could sell them on. He needed cash but I hadn't enough but he accepted a cheque in part payment. This was cashed in the next 30 Minutes!! I lost a button from the jacket & wrote to the address on his business card for a replacement. 3 months later my letter has been returned as "not known". His e-mail & web address do not work either! The 'XXL' shirts would not fit, they were 'Medium' fit! The lot ended up in a Charity shop' I did keep one 'very expensive' jacket. One of 'Life's' lessons!
