Evo, Millennium Payments Continuous deception and fraud – starts as soon as you sign Montréal, Quebec Canada
2nd of Dec, 2011 by User269864
Evo is the worst credit card processor I have ever encountered so far. Nothing with them is as advertised. Despite of our repeated complaints they have failed to address our repeated concerns related to the lengthily remittance of funds (1 week instead of promised 48 hours), limited monthly amount and limited transaction ticket amount. None of these limitations were disclosed upon signing the agreement. The agent that signs the clients – Millennium Payments is independent and what they tell you is worthless. Note – it is almost impossible to get this company to call you back. They simply do not call, no matter what. When I finally got fed up and asked them to cancel the account they promised that that will be done in 30 days. The 30 days came and nothing happened so I sent them a written request after which nothing happened too. So, nothing also happened after 2 phone calls. In 6 weeks after the first written cancellation request I sent a second one which led to a phone call from a representative who started to threaten me with a 500$ cancellation fee and by telling me that their service does not have the limitations that I am experiencing. Note – the rep is telling me that the service is great and that it just can’t be true whatever I had been experiencing over a period of one year. I checked the agreement that I signed and found no penalty clause. Also, Millennium Payments told me that I can get out at any time. As it turned out, Millennium Payments (the agent) did not send me the first 20 pages (they simply cut those pages out) that included the penalty clause. The forms include a list of all the possible fees and description of those fees but there is no mention of the cancellation fee. When I brought this to the reps attention she said it is all my fault – I should have noticed that the agreement that I signed started with page #21 and since I signed the page 23, I am also liable for the penalties enlisted on the earlier pages. After all of the above- she said all the bad people I dealt before are gone now and I have no choice, I just must stay with them and enjoy their great service. We are now 3 months after the original cancellation was requested. I still can’t get rid of them and they still keep charging our bank account. Conclusion- stay as far as you can from EVO Canada, they are bunch of shameless deceiving crooks and will do anything to get you in and then, once you are in, they will do everything to keep their recurring fees going. They are like a malicious virus – you just can’t get rid of them….
