I subscribed to fileserve for downloading services, made a standing order with paypal for 9.99 per month. For 3 days I had no complaints, then could not sign into my account. I contacted fileserve several times to no avail. Realising I was getting nowhere fast I cancelled my standing order with PayPal to fileserve. Wow, all of a sudden after cancelling my standing order fileserve suddenly recognised me, as a free customer, every time I tried to get to my premium account it said I have no such account and was a free user. My premium account does not finish until the 16th May. I have emailed the manager asking for either a refund, or my months subscription for which I have paid, and emailed them my PayPal receipt number. No surprise I have not had a reply.
Giving money away to charity is one thing, but I am not in the habit of giving money away to dodgy companies. I have since noted many people having the same problems as myself with fileserve, so beware anyone thinking of signing up with them, they are a total scam, were they a legitimate company they would have had the decency to look into complaints made to them. Oh I forgot to mention, they do not have an address, if they do it is well hidden, I do not even know which state of the U.S. they are based.
