Geo Fraud Deceptive practices and Excessive Fines for Tolls that Driver didnt commit. San Diego, California

On November 4th I received in the mail a Toll Violation from South bay Expressway and the date on the envelope was Oct 15, I called South bay expressway and asked why I had received a Toll Violation when I didn’t drive on the Toll Road on that day and that I had all records of the days that we drive on the Toll since we use our debt card to show the Toll Payments. I also asked the female customer service agent to please provide me with a description of who was driving my car on the specified day and she said that she could not because it is their Privacy Policy NOT to give that information. I told her “It’s my car so I demanded to know who was driving it without my permission so I had a right to know". Then she placed me on hold and came back and said that they only took a picture of the back of the car with the license plate. I said that doesn’t tell me anything on why my car was being driven on the toll road and that the person didn’t bother to pay a toll charge. I was furious that they were trying to get over $100.00 in erroneous charges for something that I didn’t do and something that was not in my control. She transferred me to another person who said that there was nothing that they could do to waive the fines but I still would have to pay the 60.00 and then send it a written request for review. This was beyond stupid and I demanded to speak to a supervisor, which didn’t happen. Then she said that she could cut the fine by 50% today and I could pay 36.00 rather than the 64.00 and I said NO. Why should I pay a fine when I didn’t commit any wrong doing and further more I was calling them to report that I had a TOLL VIOLATION that was dated on Oct 15th and I received it today on Nov 4th. She had no answer but to tell me that people don’t pay their fines and sell their cars and the new owner is stuck with paying the fines. I said what the heck does that have to do with me. She obviously didn’t get it. I explained to her that I was not about to pay a fine for something that was not done by me and all she said was that we have a picture of your car but nobody driving the car. I told her that I would be taking legal action on this and I would file a suit against South bay expressway and their unethical practices of entrapping people to collect 60.00 fines for something they didn’t do or were not aware of. I told her that the court costs and attorney fees would far outweigh these fines and that I would win the case and would also consider a Class Action Law suit against South bay Expressway for unethical deceptive collection practices and attempting to commit fraud and take advantage of innocent people who due to automation are caught up in their scam. She didn’t say anything but ok and asked if there was anything else that she could do for me today. We have got to go after south bay expressway and their deceptive practices and put a stop to them gouging people over and over. The fact that they charge a penalty of 1500% (60.00) for something and then tack on an additional 1000% (40.00) after is FRAUD and Deception and innocent people need to stand up and fight this. I urge anyone who wants to start a Class Action Suit over this to contact everyone who has filed a scam Report and we will also take this to the Local Media and make our case known publically. We will take this to the TV, RADIO and NEWS MEDIA that South bay Expressway is unethically bilking thousands of dollars from innocent people for no reason. This must stop, south bay Expressway trains their employees to make people pay a fine and then send a letter in for review and also they won’t account for proof of the driver who drove the vehicle. Their way of doing business is to collect money and not to figure out a situation. We need to show South bay Expressway that we will NOT BE BULLIED BY THEIR TACTICS of charging people 1500% of what the toll is and that this MIUST STOP. Any Attorney who would like to take this case I can guarantee you that there are thousands of us in the same situation who are all facing the same harassment from South bay Expressway and their collection practices and deception. The Employees at south bay Expressway involved with the phone call were Employee # 1001 and #1065, I dont wish to use their names as that would be an invasion of their privacy.
