GetRV.com Scammed! GetRV.com SCAMS BOTH Sides!! Dallas , Texas

I rented my 2000 Fleetwood Motorhome per agreement with GetRV.com for the Burning Man event in late August of 2011. They advertise that payment is upfront. I am under agreement with GetRV.com to rent my RV and get compensated for the rental of my coach. It is now over two months and still have not been paid by GetRV.com. After numerous phone calls and emails, we were promissed a check for payment in the mail three times that have since passed and still no check. Now they don't even return phone calls or emails. This was my first experience at renting my motorhome and has left a nasty taste in my mouth! We have spent 50-60 hours preparing this RV for rental. My wife is extremely discouraged from ever doing this again. We understand that GetRV.com got paid, UP FRONT, from the renter in mid August of 2011. In addition, we have another 30-40 hours to clean our RV from the Burning Man event. I have read several circumstances from renter's of GetRV.com that have been ripped-off. This report shows that the RV Owner's are also being ripped-off. I believe that GetRV.com is scamming BOTH sides! I have filed a complaint with the Dallas Texas BBB. Of course, no response to date from GetRV.com. Also, GetRV.com is NOT a member of the Dallas BBB. My next step is to file a complaint in small claims court in Nevada.They owe me nearly $5K and I am not giving up on my pursuit of justice. I doubt that they will come to Nevada to defend this lawsuit. Either way, I will win a judgement. After the judgement award, I will take the judgement to Texas for collection. If anyone has experienced the same treatment, on either side of Renter or Owner, please come forward. I beleive we are not an isolated case!! I am tired of fighting these people!
