I was a loyal member since the late 70s until EFFCU merged with Space Coast Credit Union. I had many car loans, and personal loans all paid on time with no problems. Then after the merger the people I dealt with for years were either laid off or gone and the Miramar offices moved to Melbourne,FL. The Bill pay from my Bank would always be turned back because of PO Box errors so I was forced to make Phone payments, then they started to demand almost $9.00/ each payment. I traded my car in to a dealer and called the Credit Union for a payoff and explained this payment thing was getting out of hand. They paid me back by putting a Closed 30 days late on my credit reports, When asked about this, I was told the Motor Finance Company sent the payoff check late. I traded the car long before the due date & had no possesion of said vehicle.
