i got signed up with this company.. What a joke... It is a service company. Consumers can find installers to install TV's, stereo systems, home theaters, cable, cat5 runs, etc. etc. You have to be insured, have service vans, show id's when going to job site and everything. This is good for consumer, so it ok. Well you get jobs emailed to you and you have to go on the wesite to REQUEST the job... They constantly say assigned to another service provider, or have a stupid low price like hang a plasma on the wall for $60 and conceal wiring or hide in a wiring track, and then they take 10% of that as a fee, so you get paid $54, but yet they charge the consumer $150 for that job.. And if you complain as i have about price being too low, they let you know real quick, the reason you are not getting MORE jobs is that you wont do enough of the LOWBALL jobs.. Well they are all lowball.... even with the economy, i have accepted these few jobs they give me.... But then they wont pay you. It takes ALOT of complaining and 2 weeks plus to get your $36-$54 for you job you had to do, and supply parts on some occasions... I had to threaten LIEN on one house simply to get paid. I have to protect my company.. Its not the consumer fault, but they are in the end getting the shaft because my company as well as others companies MUST get paid... The even screw the consumers on bid jobs.. I bid one complete job, full home theater install, projector, screen, 7.2 speaker wiring, dvd, etc... Gave INSTALL IT TODAY the business to business wholesale install price of $720 (normal installation $1200). This is where you go bid the job for install it today, and give them wholesale price, i spent several hours, designing job, etc. for $34 trip fee (JOKE).. They said they send normal price to customer, if customer accepts, then job is sent to me... Well then they want to pay you $720 plus take 10%.. Anyway they should have quoted customer the $1200 price.... I never heard anything so i called customer a few weeks later and asked how he was doing and if he ever got his quote over from Install It Today.. He said yes, but he had installed by someone else. I asked why, and was the quote not good.. He said he had installed by another company for almost $1400, and that Install it Today quoted almost $2000... I was upset, they tried to get almost 300% from the guy, knowing full well it was a $1200 quote... They simply screw the customer AND the installers out there... DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

| I TOO LIKE SO MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD TO THREATEN LIENS TO GET PAID. THEY HAVE GONE SO FAR AS TO TRY TO TRASH ME ON OTHER PLATFORMS FOR THAT. I CURRENTLY AM IN THE PROCESS OF INTERROGETORIES IN A SUIT. THEY WROTE SOME TRASH COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A PLATFORM I AM A PRINCIPLE OF. THEY DIDN'T THINK I WOULD FIND OUT. tHIS IS A GROUP OF THREE COUPLES WHO ARE SIMPLY THIEVES. THEY WILL RUN THIS SITE UNTILL THEY CAN GET NO MORE TECHS AND THEN THEY WILL CREATE A NEW SITE LIKE THEY HAVE BEFORE. WATCH OUT THEY ALSO NOW TRY TO RUN THEIR WORK THRU FIELD SOLUTIONS. DONT TAKE THEIR WORK AND LETS SHUT THEM DOWN. |

It took them 7-weeks to pay me for 2 projects, one project I rushed to do a day early for the customer and no one cares. It sits there forever never getting pay. Over the course of a few weeks I sent a few emails asking for status, and never received any replies.
at 3-weeks into this, I called and they told me they do net 30 payment and I told them, nothing on the paperwork or anything I have received said I was going to give them net 30 to pay me.
I will never do any of these projects again, this company is as close to a scam as you can get. I feel sorry for everyone that has any dealings with either of them.
Also, IIT does nothing, they also never replied to any emails. they will not help you, they will not support you, you are on your own, all they will do is take the 10% |

| Install It Today will not pay until you send at least 3 emails, which go unanswered, then calls to IIT, they forward you off to ZIP to answer the question, then you will get "we are backed up on getting payments out." If you are in a position in which you can wait at least 60 days for payment, and do not mind having to beg for payment, then IIT is a good company for you to do business with. If, on the other hand, you like follow up on request, payment in a timely fashion, then stay away from contracting with these guys. |
