My girlfriend and I have been looking for a suitable puppy for the past couple of months. We knew we wanted a purebred and were willing to pay a little more if it meant having a registered husky that we may one day be able to breed. We fell in love with one and took her home that night after
playing with her for a couple hours at the breeders location. The morning after we got her home, she acted as if she was having a difficult time breathing. Within an hour things only got worse. She would not eat and would not stand up on her own. When we touched her, she would howl. By dinner time, the dog collapsed in her crate. My girlfriend rushed her to the vet who immediately said she looked malnourished,and may have been in final stages of parvo. He said it looked like she
would not make it through the night. The vet commented that the dog was obviously suffering. We had not even named her yet. By recommendation from the vet, and vet assistant she was too weak to endure any other testing, we had to put her down. Shirley was called immediately and she insisted that the dog was fine when she left and obviously felt NO SYMPATHY. Another person had to get on the phone, because Shirley was so rude, inconsiderate, irritated, cold, and was constantly
interrupting us and ranting on about the RCMP and how they were monitoring the call. This woman did not care and told my girlfriend do not even come back to return the unopened pet supplies you bought with her.The vet recommended we take her for autopsy to prove she was unhealthy when
she was bought, and commented that they have seen THE SAME THING with other dogs from IPB Husky Snow Dogs. We are heart broken and devastated that we didn't even get to name our a dog we fell in love with, and received NO help, apology, or compassion from Shirley Koyczan. We are also
devastated that there will be NO financial refund. Instead they insisted we take a replacement dog, which is obviously not what we want, especially from a place that sells unhealthy dogs with no accountability. We made a huge mistake by walking in those doors, and now are obligated to pay for our unnamed, deceased dog, who we only spent 48 hours with. |

| Shirley Koczan sold a puppy to my wife and I in Oct. 2010. Because the puppy was to young to take home we had to wait for the dog to become old enough away from this breeder. However upon investigating Shirley we found that she is a scammer and her die and are not safely bred. Shirley will tell you that brothers and sisters, and cousins, and mothers can mate with each other because she found an original gene that creates healthy puppies...HMMMM does this work with humans. My concern was brought forward to Shirley after the internet was filled with complaints about her. She said these allegations are not true...etc. I simply had asked for my $300.00 deposit back and she said she doesn't have it. She bought food for my puppy I bought and a collar and a bed. Is that what businesses do with deposits. Ouch! I called her again to ask for my money back she said she will have it for me after a RCMP officer comes to buy a puppy. Wow stories are close to others I've seen. Well, the cop didn't show to buy the dog. Imagine that! I couldn't be bothered to chase this unprofessional breeder daily nor weekly. So I cut my losses. Please do not buy a puppy from this breeder. I know the dogs are cute and adorable, that's what got my wife and I. Secondly You will know what I mean by USER when you meet her. Be careful. |

****YES B-E-W-A-R-E OF THIS BREEDER!!! **** I have seen the way she treats her dogs, by "breaking their spirit" on a number of occasions which is just INHUMANE!!
**** SHE ALSO RUNS A PUPPY MILL!!! **** She buys Siberian Husky pups on Kijiji etc that ARE NOT papered and sells them as her own. I know this because she had asked me if I wanted a "job" and tried to recruit me to help her buy these pups and re-sell them as she said it was the easiest way to make money!
The CKC should SHUT HER DOWN, SHE IS AN AWFUL BREEDER WITH NO MORALS AND MISTREATS HER DOGS!! BE WARNED!!! |
