John Moore only pays commission. So, each plumber is encouraged to "sell, sell, sell" just to make a paycheck. My husband has been a plumber for 20 years and when he started working for John Moore, he was shocked to see the prices this company was charging its clients. On several occasions, my husband was sent out to customer's homes who already had estimates from John Moore, only to find that the jobs had been over bid by thousands, and in many cases, those outrageous bids did not even include fixing the original problem reported by the customer. After bringing some of these issues to his manager's attention, my husband only got drain calls, which are very low paying calls. After a few weeks of this and very low paychecks,( ranging from $200-$400 per week) he asked why he was not getting anything but these kind of calls. He was then put on "stand by" and dispatch stopped sending him any calls at all. My husband has found employment elswhere, and we would encougage people looking for plumbing work, to look at other companies. If you have integrity and arent willing to scam customers just to make a paycheck, this is not the company to work for. For those people in need of plumbing service......be very careful and get more than one estimate.....Caveat emptor!!!!
