Localnet.com corecomm blocked login to avoid cancelation, charging 200.00 for tech support, ignores feedback communication minneapolis, Minnesota

It took over a month to get up and running, with no compensation for taking that long to hook up service. They are charging 200.00 for tech support when was I was told it was on their end by the tech that came to the house to check modem. They have locked me out of login so I could not cancel my account,and was told I can only cancel by fax or email but email must come from localnet account. When calling always on hold for over 10 minutes just to get transfered to someone else and the on hold again, total times on calls to them were always 45 minutes or longer and they won't try to resolve any disputes on tech charges that were not my fault. When i finally talked to someone in tech/billing I was told that it was on my end and there is nothing they can do to change that.

I'm not sure what company you are talking about, as Localnet.com has free technical support. They have been free as long as I have had them (6 years). Also, they only have a call center, they don't send techs out to the house. If you had a tech come out, it means you probably had the Telephone Company out. Even if you have their DSL service, they still don't send out their own tech, it's the telephone company. I don't know why you are having to wait on hold twice, I only wait once when I call the number on my statement (1-888-488-7265, customer service is option 2), and the wait has always been less than 45 min for me. Also, the number for tech support is 1-888-488-7266, if that's where you are trying to call and getting put on hold twice, that number will take you right to them without being on hold twice, the most I've ever waited for them is 10 min. As far as cancelling, just go to your local library if you have to, log in to the webmail, and send the cancel letter from there if you have no internet at home. I'm thinking you should get your facts straight before bashing a company, as most of your facts are wrong.
