The ATLANTA OFFLINE PARTY, scheduled for September 25-26, 2010 was all a scam to take consumers money.

WHAT: ATL Offline Party & Networking Getaway
WHEN: September 25, 2010 @ 10:00amto September 26, 2010 @1:00pm
WHERE: Atlanta, GA...Hilton Atlanta Airport

The so-called artists due to appear/perform at this event, Rickey Smiley, Tank, and Raheem DeVaughn was never aware that they were scheduled for this.

5 days before the event date, we received this message but still didn't get the full story of the cancellation until that Wednesday, September 23, 2010:

September 20, 2010 at 1:05pm Please email me if you haven't already. Important details about the offline party. Please email me at or just reply to this here on FB *** Please leave a contact number- cell phone or other- Because it is late in the day, we have important info that we need to get to you that we want to ensure we get to you. You should be hearing from someone from the Offline party staff by the end of the day today. (before 5pm) Thanks. Marcel" Every month, there is a different story with Marcel aboutwhen we will get our money. It is late January 2011 and the station is now shut down. I've called and called andhe will not return phone calls.Hisavoidance is indication that we will never get our money.

This has been quiet a learning experience. Please beware of this person!

Marcel was kind enough to forward the emails you wrote to him of your threats, slander and other evidence of stalking me. “Being able to look at videos of her xxxxx her ex boyfriend's xxxx.”- “now because you have been exposed to one of your internet whores.” “White Bitch.”
You do not know me, nor have the right to slander my name and character in your frivolous emails, or threaten me or my children. Threatening to come to my home, “I will be up this bitch next week.” ‘Fuck you and xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx”.

I have contacted my attorney and he has advised me to send him copies of the emails you sent to Marcel as well as the emails you sent to me. He also suggested I inform you of Az. Revised Statutes §13-2921 as well as Va. Code § 18.2-152.7:1.
I’m glad my ‘personal’ videos I emailed to Marcel are giving you hours of viewing pleasure. Please note that my attorney also informed me that he will be filing a case against you for unauthorized distribution of personal/intellectual property. He also informed me that should those videos end up in cyber space, he will be contacting …

• Internet Crime Complaint Center

Legal proceeding will include the tape recording of our conversation where you admitted to me of hacking into Marcel’s email, as well as a witness to testify hearing your admission. (Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 13-3005 - Va. Code Ann. § 19.2-62.)

Please also be aware of the fact that I will be including Marcel in any legal proceedings against you, if anymore contact is made to me or him, as he was a guest in my home at the time.

In defense of Ms. Grant (whom I don’t know and never met), unfortunately her story is NOT fictitious …Gilbert Marcel Thornton has lied and used a lot of people…his focus is on WOMEN who are naïve enough to fall for his charm and lies, giving away their body and their money. Anyone that comes across him, especially women should BEWARE.
