I gave them 1 star, because there wasnâ€™t an option for 0. I purchased a couch on 11/17 09. Knowing that there was only a 1 year warranty, I purchased the 5 year extended warranty (and their sales person pushed it). On 9/14/11 the reclining handle broke. Called the warranty and they say itâ€™s not covered. This company is not run by marlo, but they push it. I know parts fail; however its how the company fixes the situation that matters. When I called marlo they say itâ€™s between you and the warranty company, so basically I paid $1767.68 for furniture that can not be used for the manufactures intended purpose. When you pay good money for something, it fails in less than 2 years and they donâ€™t want to stand behind it that tells me they donâ€™t want my business again. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY. ITâ€™S NOT HONNERED.

I wish I would have seen this prior to purchasing the warranty at the Alexandria, VA location. But basically the same thing. Salesman said how great the warranty was and that it was "No Use, No Lose" so I purchased it. When it came time to claim certificate, I received the same exact run around. Please do NOT purchase from that location. Sales person was Edwin Tan.

The extended warranty only covers specific damages to the furniture as clearly explained by a salesperson and the brochure. All clients must read the brochure before buying it. Nobody lies about it.

The salesperson was just doing his job, and his job was to sell the products and warranties. I am in sales too and am required by my company to sell the warranties. Most warranties are serviced by third party companies. It is not good to try and destroy a salesperson's career and hiding behind a made up name. The man was just doing his job. It's like blaming a waittress for the bad food in a restaurant.

I bought a leather set from this store and years later there was a rip on the cushion. The extended warranty got me the repair i needed.thanks to the warranty i saved my couch and did not have to buy a new one.
