I contracted with Master Cleaning to clean my carpets, and had a coupon from a mailer. Their ad with this coupon clearly states "satisfaction guaranteed - no hidden costs" and "free deodorizer", and that they accept all major credit cards. When the technician arrived, he immediately stated that he would need to add cleaning agents and deodorizer and would have to charge extra for both. My carpets were not so dirty as to require more than normal cleaning, so I was shocked that there would be any extra charges. He then told me that I would need to pay by check or cash; if I wanted to pay by credit card, they would charge me a transaction fee. When I showed him a copy of the advertisement stating "no hidden costs", he stated that this was the mistake of the office, and that I would have to call them. When I called, I got no answer.
At that point, feeling very frustrated, I told him that I would not be needing his services. Luckily, we had several people cleaning our house for a move-in the next day. We were able to rent a machine and clean the carpets ourselves. Others who are a tight schedule may not be so lucky. BEWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS
COMPANY!!!
