| My complaint is fraud on selling French BullDog Puppies. I was given Michelle Leclaire's email address:[email protected] as someone who had French bulldog puppies for sale/adoption by "Monik Denson" on Feb 27, 2011. Michelle Leclaire [email protected] of Michelle's French Puppies emailed me on 2/28/11 that she had 3 puppies for adoption."The cost of adoption of the Female is $450. While the male is $400. Shipping to any location is $200.". Michelle gave me two email addresses to contact for references on past puppies adopted from her and both (Teresa Clarks and Kari Parsons) informed me they had no problems and their puppies arrived healthy as promised. I sent emails to Monik Denson, Teresa Clarks, and Kari Parsons advising them of the puppy fraud but never heard back from them. Michelle Leclaire sent me pictures of three puppies and gave me additional information such as what they eat , collar size, adult height and weight of the parents etc. I felt comfortable through the emails that Michelle was legimately selling French Buuldog puppies. She told me she was a 60 year old grandmother and had bred and sold french bulldogs fro more than 18 years. I contracted with Michelle Leclaire and signed a Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee on 2/28/11 to purchase the male puppy (KEN) born on 12/23/10. Receipt of said sum of $600.00 is hereby acknowledged is stated in contract. Michelle requested that I send her the $600.00 via Western Union addressed to Name = Michelle Leclaire, Address = 115 1st street S, Melrose, MN 56352 and send her the money tracking control number which I did on 2/28/11 - MTCN:754-263-2740. The money was picked up in Melrose MN. I had many many emails to/from Michelle Leclaire from Feb 27 up thru Mar 2 but no emails since she sent me ""Ok. I will book the first flight for Monday 21st. When i do, i will get back to you with the details.Thank you"". I was going on vacation so Michelle agreed to hold KEN and ship him to me on 3/21 on the first flight of the morning as my friend was taking time off from work to go into Boston Logan with me so I could have all my attention on Ken while she drove. My last email from Michelle Leclaire was on March 2nd. I have tried multiple times via email to contact Michelle. I sent her an email 3/12/11 reminding her that I was going on vacation. Sent an email 3/20 ""I am back from vacation. Please send the details of the flight Ken will be on Monday the 21st. I will need to know who to see and where to pick him up in the terminal."" . I waited the entire day on March 21st (my friend missed an entire day from work waiting to hear from Michelle). On March 22, 2011 I sent an email to Michelle - """Since I have not heard from you, I'm assuming the dog Ken was not shipped on March 21st as per our agreement below. I have attempted to reach you by phone on the following two numbers 320-256-4385 and 320-256-7432 and have left multiple messages on telephone number 320-256-7432 on March 20th and March 21st. Per our signed contract agreement, please refund my $600.00 via Western Union and forward the Money Transfer Control Number to me.""" I filled out a complaint with the Minnesota Better Business Bureau and after waiting the appropraite amount of time they informed me they have tried but could not make contact with Michelle Leclaire and they have filed my complaint for 3 years reference. I have not heard from Michelle Leclaire of Michelle's French Puppies since her last email to me on March 2,2011. I do not want the puppy KEN from her and have doubts this puppy exists. I need assiistance in resolving this matter. I would like my $600.00 returned to me and want to know if there are any other legal actions I can pursue against her. I do believe that I have to take the $600 lesson and want to alert anyone else looking to adopt a French Bulldog puppy to not go near Michelle Leclaire - Michelle's French Puppies, 115 1st street South, Melrose Minnesota 56352.
