Mid-Atlantic Finance Mid Finance Double Billed & Refused to Credit Account - clearwater, Florida

This is not the first issue I have had with this company. When my local auto dealer first sold my account to his company I started getting charged $6 each payment for them to take my money.. as a "convenience fee." I have had 3-4 separate instances where my car wouldn't start. They have a safety device installed where if you don't pay your bill then your car won't start. Well if you pay on a Friday (payday) and Monday just happens to be a holiday.. they register your payment late and your car won't start. Well this is my latest issue with this company... double billed and refused to credit. I submitted my bi-weekly payment of $225 + $6 fee every other Friday like normal. Usually by Tuesday they take the money out. I noticed on Tuesday the payment wasn't taken out yet. I waited for Wednesday and still nothing. I checked my printed web payment confirmation and I noticed I entered my bank account number incorrectly. I called customer service and he said once they see the payment has incorrect information they will back it off. He told me to wait one day and resubmit the payment online. I resubmitted the payment on March 11th, 2011. I have the printed confirmation with the correct information. I wake up today to see my bank really low.. and it is because they pushed the payment with the incorrect information through. I now have payments from them on my bank from the following dates 3-11-2011
3-14-2011 I submitted the incorrect information payment on 3-4-2011 and the correct one on 3-11-2011 This leads me to believe they have my correct information saved and altered my payment form and pushed it through. I called customer service this morning and they refused to do anything for me. They can't credit me back a payment because "they have no control over the information I put online." They told me my only choice is to dispute the payment with my bank. Please stay away from this company. I am stuck with them for another year... don't get put in my situation.
