Today I received three text messages from 34095. The first read:

U requested daily mymobilelove texts. Sub service is $9.99/mo + Msg&Data rates may aply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for HELP. Enter on web: 2562.

The second text was an insipid saying, evidently my mobile love text for that day. And the third was a rehash of the first. I have never heard of this company, I did not subscribe to the service. Nor would I ever pay $10 a month for something so stupid.

I called my cell phone provider, Sprint. The rep confirmed I had been charged the $9.99. She canceled the charge and told me to reply STOP to the service. I asked if there was anything else I could do to avoid this in the future,and was toldthere wasn't.

I also had the charge made to my phone without signing up for it. Verizon wouldn't remove the charge.
They said I had to have it credited by "My Mobile Love". I called them and left a message on their answering machine, but no one called me back. How do they get away with this????

I noted a charge on my Verizon wireless bill this month for 9.99. I called Verizon and they researched it and checked it out for me. They told me it was Mobile Love and gave me a 877 phone number to call them and cancel this "service" which I never applied for in the first place. This text message was charged to my husband's phone, which has had TEXT MESSAGING blocked since we got it. Verizon did reverse this charge for me. If it appears again, I will call again. I did call the 877 number and told them to take our phone number off their list. Who knows if anyone checks those messages, but you can be sure I will be watching my bill again next month.
