WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS!!!

I was promised the world by this company... they told me they had performed numerous window replacement projects across the Northwest and had been doing so for decades. They were supposed to be experienced with the PUD rebate process and I followed their directions to the "T" and end in the end they burned me to make a couple more bucks! It all started with them giving me the rundown on their A+ BBB rating, their Angieslist rating, blah, blah, blah; the only problem is that I believed them. (I must say that the contractors that actually performed the work of installing the windows did a great job but they were unrelated to NWHI) Everything else was a lie and a con.

Anyhow, I got my custom windows installed after roughly 1.5 months upon ordering them. I was told I would need the window efficiency rating paperwork to get the rebate and that it would come shortly after the installation... needless to say, it didn't show up in the mail for months. Upon receiving the efficiency rating paperwork I made a trip to the local Benton PUD office only to be told that I had been ripped off by this Subcontractor! Apparently they were an approved contractor for the Benton PUD but they had only performed one rebate with this company in the past (after NWHI had told me they had performed countless rebate transactions with the Benton PUD) and that it was apparently a nearly impossible to finalize the first (and only NWHI) rebate.

After speaking with the PUD I was informed that the PUD rebate was to be applied to the sale price reducing it by $6/sq ft at the time of the transaction (which I asked NWHI about 10 different times if that was how it was supposed to be done and I was assured that was not the way it was done.) My rebate should have totaled roughly $1,100.00 at the time of the purchase and NWHI was supposed to deduct this from the selling price and apply for the rebate on their own using their Contractor Forms upon completion of the installation.

As you were probably guessing, my loan already went through so NWHI has been paid in full and since the exact date my loan was processed and the money distributed to NWHII have not been able to get a hold of them. (Why would I expect to though they've gotten exactly what they needed from me.) I've called every single number they have listed on the internet and in the paperwork they gave me during the transaction; I've left approximately20 messages explaining exactly the situation, begging them to call me back so I can get the rebate before the PUD funding runs out and I get no response.

The PUD has called numerous times and left messages and they don't return their phone calls either. At this point I'm at a loss because I really thought this company was going to follow through with everything until the job was complete, from beginning to end. I have lifetime warranties on all of the windows and sliding glass doors but if anything were to happen I would have no recourse as they don't answer their phones.

If you are considering buying windows I would highly recommend you stay as far away from these scum bags as possible!
