this morning before 12:00PM i got a phone call from a man from "Oasis Travel" and he was claiming that i had won a promotional gift, A $200 gas card with an activation code of (AF1***) . he then wanted to confirm my address, which he had. he then went on to explane to me he needed only a creditcard number to have it put on the gas card so only I could use it. there would also be only a $2 fee to have this done. after thinking a second i asked if he might need any other numbers, and he said no. he explained that they wouldn't need the 3 diget number on the back. So I asked about the expiration date, and he said they wouldn't need that. then he asked what is the number on the card? So I gave him -a- number, then he started to ask, and whats the expiration date? so i reminded him that he just got done telling me he wouldn't need it, so he comes back with he has to have it to process the info for everything he had just told me about, so I give him- a -expiration date. he leaves the phone for about 4 seconds and explains the card couldn't go thru. i was surprised, so he commenced in reading me back the info i gave him and i said thats right. so he starts trying to confence me i should trust him more. then i asked him what he might be thinking if someone calledhim up from out of the blue calling himself Jack Wilson with an accent that sounds like it came from Bombay, India, lies to me about expiration dates and then ask me to trust him? So i asked him to look at the $1 bill in his pocket and to tell me what it says on the back, above the word one. that is who i trust. He then said he was sorry and asked my forgivness, i did. then i disconnected.
