I sold an item on in July 2011 on Ebay. Customer paid on July 26, 2011. Paypal decided to hold the funds for this one transaction asking for documentation that this is a valid transaction. I responded with all the information on July 26, 2011. August 3, I asked them for an ETA of released funds. No Response
August 3, 2011 I tried called, waited an hour and hand to hand up.
On August 4, I copied exact emails from buyer stating that the transaction was valid - No Response
On August 4 again, I responded saying it's been 9 nines, please release the funds - No Response
August 4, 2011 Tried calling again, waited 1 hour and 22 minutes....had to hang up.
On August 5, I decided to ship the item and gave Paypal the tracking number that it was shipped...no response Then on August 1, I got an email stating that they will now be holding my funds for 21 days on each transaction unless I provide proof of delivery or positive feedback. Neither of these promise release of funds though according to their email. This new hold policy on my account occured AFTER they held the funds for this one transaction they will not respond to me about. What a scam. Item is shipped, I'm sure the guys credit card is charged...but they won't respond or release my money for this one transaction. scam.
