I wanted to sell two cell phones that we no longer needed. I did a Google search for companies that buy used cell phones, and PhoneIsCash came up, along with several other companies. I chose PhoneIsCash because they offered the best prices for our phones -- $18 for both phones. I mailed the phones, batteries, and all chargers (car and home) as instructed. It cost me $8.00 to send them Priority Mail (to a P.O. Box in Staten Island, N.Y.). Here it is the middle of April, and I haven't received a dime. Every time I send an e-mail inquiry, I get an automated reply saying they will contact me to let me know the "status" of my request. I'd really like to know what they're doing with my phones, because their responses say they are "examining" them. Trust me, this is a total scam, and I wish someone would investigate them and put them out of business. I'm sure they are selling them to other people or companies and getting paid. Our phones were in excellent condition and only a year old.
