|Processing Solutions Abusive Credit Card Processing and termination fees Atlanta, Georgia |

|We arranged to add credit card services to our company to make it easier for our clients to make purchases. We were referred to Processing Solutions by one of our vendors and their rep seemed very likable and wanted to help set us up. At the time we knew it would be a few months before we actually would be ready to use the service but wanted to get it set up ahead of time. The rep assured us there would be no charges until we started using the service. We set up an ACH to facilitate receiving funds and paying the appropriate fees. One month after signing up we had our account automatically debited for $30.00. When I questioned the rep he said that it was a standard fee charged reguardless of weather we had used the service or not. We let it slide for a couple months thinking it would not be long and we would be using the service and then it wouldn't matter as the fees would balance out the minimum charge. When it became obvious that it was going to take longer to get things set up we asked the rep if there was anything we could do to stop the charges till we were ready. He told us we could put the account on hold but we would be charged $15.00 per month till we reactivated the account. We figured that was a better arrangement and so we submitted the appropriate forms to accomplish this task. The following month we were charged the same $30.00. We tried reaching the rep without any reply. We sent emails and left messages with no response. The next month we get another $30.00 charge. At that point we contacted our bank and put a stop payment on the $30.00 charge figuring that would motivate the company or the rep to contact us. Nothing for another month and then another charge for $30.00 which again the bank reversed because of the stop payment. Still no contact. One week after the second stop payment had been reversed we get a charge for $59.00 which we immediately got the bank to reverse as it was obvious that Processing Solutions was trying to sneak a charge through by entering a different amount. When they were unsuccessful with that ploy they Charged our account an early termination fee of $398.57 which we could not reverse and they refused to refund. We have over the last 2 and a half months been trying to get the rep to correct this mess and he simply offers lip service and has not had the guts to be honest and let us know what was really going on. It was only today that we found out the company wants us to put up $1000.00 guarantee before they will reinstate our account and they want to hold in reserve $41000.00 and at the end of one year will release the $398.57. They must think we are some kind of Idiots. No one in their right mind would buy into that scenario. It's companies like this that put more emphasis on their bottom line and not on good customer service. This whole issue could have been resolved early on but the rep didn't find it important to help his client and the company didn't give a rats you know what about a small account. These kinds of companies are what is destroying consumer confidence and making it harder for the small business owners. We will search for another company to provide our credit card services and will be sure to let other small business owners know that Processing Solutions is not the company you want to work with. In the long run it will cost them far more than the $398.57. Big mistake on their part.|
