DO NOT use Properties R Us. They are crooks and liars. They do not screen tenants, knowing that they can over charge for evictions and repairs. Their sole aim is not to find tenants but to find ways to charge owners, often for things they never get around to doing. You can be sure that your property will have sudden air conditioning issues that require immediate repair without owner approval. And don't ever expect to see an invoice for repairs. I know of half a dozen other owners who have NEVER received ANY income from their properties managed by these crooks. I also know that their agents have broken a number of laws including showing, negotiating and leasing apartments without a real estate license. I am reporting them to the authorities and board of realtors tomorrow.

Mary, the owner, is a thieving snake in the grass that takes advantage of the low income patrons who are unfortunate enough to cross paths with her. We paid our rent on time, left the property cleaner than we found it (which was DISGUSTING) and she still tried to take our deposit for not giving a thirty day notice to vacate EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF OUR SIX MONTH LEASE THAT WE PAID IN FULL DAY 1(we moved from out of state). She first tried to pocket half of it and say we didn't pay the whole deposit; later, she tried to take our entire deposit until we showed her all of our proof of her being a liar, thief, and swindler. She then cut us a check and made us sign a "document" ordering us to not say anything to anyone because she knew her activities were illegal -- which is BLACKMAIL. Our advice in dealing with her is to push back, she's not used to it -- we did and we got our money back. And yes Mary, we still have all the documentation so don't try any of your BS -- people deserve to know what they are getting into. Hopefully, her days as a slumlord are numbered.
