Dear Traveler:
I reserved a 1 night stay at the Red Sea Dive Center. When I arrived, the manager told me that they were booked and that I could stay in a "sister hotel" next door. I told him I didn't pay $40 to stay in a lesser hotel and he assured me it was just as good. Next, I go to the sister hotel to find out that they don't have a tv, hot water, air condition, or pool. What a scam! So, I go back to the Red Sea Dive Center and tell him that he should not overbook his hotel and that it is dishonest. He tells me I have no other choice but to take a refund, or he can arrange a hotel for me 10 MILES AWAY. I accept the offer for him to arrange the hotel and 1 hour later I am picked up by a taxi. By the way the manager of the Red Sea Dive Center makes me pay for the taxi fare, to and from the hotel, in addition to the time I wasted driving all the way to an overbooked hotel. In conclusion, I advise you not to stay at the Red Sea Dive Center unless you wish to go through a similar experience with a dishonest manager who is purposely OVERBOOKING his hotel in the hope that he can sway you to stay at his sister hotel!
