Moved my family into 8007 Retriever Avenue, Las Vegas in August 2011. Family started getting sick pretty quickly but as the month went on it kept getting worse and worse. Landlords said if a problem was found they would fix but then refused and refused to check it out further. The house had many updates but it seemed the chemicals were coming out of the vents and walls. Neighbors reported 20 to 30 cars a day would visit the house (even in a gated community). Las Vegas Fire Department "evacutated myself and my family" and sent us to the hospital as they were so concerned after they started feeling symptoms in 15 minutes. Las Vegas Fire Department said Landlords needed to have Haz Mat come in to determine what chemicals were in the house. Landlords refused. Director of the Health District of Las Vegas said one of the symptoms we had; our teeth would feel numb but also felt painful, was "for sure" chemicals not mold although mold might also be in the house. Landlords are now selling the house to unsuspecting people in a short sale through Redfin Realty, MLS 1199130 !
