We met Rick Pamplin through a TV show that my daughter did. He contacted us stating he had a movie planned that she would be PERFECT for the girl lead role. This film was called "Crimebusters" and we were invited to his office where he told us all about it and how when he saw her on TV he just knew she was the one they wanted for the girl named "Scout". Over the next few months we were invited back to the office to be given a script for her to study and were introduced to "Oscar" the dog and told how she needed to get to know Oscar so that when they started filming they would already know each other because Oscar is "Scouts" dog in the movie. He also told me to get someone to teach her how to play baseball because that would be perfect for her to know how to play before filming. Well.... Then came the Ameriplan. I was asked to come and sit in on a meeting and conned into joining the program. Rick paid for me to join and kept pushing me to get other moms that I knew to join under him. When I didnt get anyone to join his entire attitude changed twards us now all of a sudden saying that my daugher had to audition for the part "as a legality" We showed up for the audition, she did great and he still had us believing she had the part. Weeks went by with nothing, he stopped calling and returning my calls, emails etc. When I finally did get ahold of him suddenly my daughter was too old for the part but he would give her something like an extra or something. We were completely blown off and treated like crap because I didnt do his stupid Ameriplan sceme. Rick and his associates are all scammers and use their big Movie plans to con people into joining them. When they dont bring him money from his pyramid scheme he blows them off. Anyone that would even consider doing business with any of them is crazy.
