Requiring 80+ sq meters of second hand jarrah floorboards in Nov 2009, I responded to a Quokka adv selling 100 sq meters of boards. In response, Ron Mason and I agreed on the amount,length, price and delivery time. We "trusted" each other as we knew of a mutual acquaintance. A large amount of boards were delivered and left where requested. On seeing the pile, I assumed the full amount had been delivered as agreed and Ron Mason was paid. After denailing and measuring said boards, only 50% had been delivered. Ron Mason agreed there could have been a short fall as he was only the driver and they had been loaded for him. He agreed to supply the short fall when he had managed to source the balance, even though he had advertised 100 sq meters before we started negotiations. 6 months latter, after many phone calls, he delivered 15 sq meters while I was away. To finish my project, I had to source boards elsewhere. Upon informing Ron Mason, that the boards were no longer required and that I would be seeking recompense on the short fall. I was told in no uncertain manners that this would never happen. At this moment, I am taking it through small claims tribunal, and the bailiffs are not getting anywhere with the presentation of summons and in the bailiffs letter of non servitude of summons, they mention amongst other phrases that Ron Mason is well known to them. At this point in time I am still trying to serve the summons myself, and get stalled by a locked gate and his sister. Please note, the change of his telephone numbers and suburbs over the last 18 months from Mt Hawthorn, to Leederville and now Greenwood, even though he has been residing at the Leederville address provided all this time.

I was ripped off by Mason in 2008 for $2100. He didn`t supply the wood required and I had to go through a protracted series of trials. Mason even lied to the court, saying he had passed away, to get out of going to court. I eventually won a court order for him to pay me $50-00 a fortnight but guess what, he hasn`t paid me anything.Ongoing. If you wish to contact me my mobile is 0429990709.
