| My company had the unfortunate experience of meeting Mr. Hearld. He came to Atlanta boasting that he could facilitate funding by acquiring and monetizing bank guarantees on behalf of clients. Initially he was professional and boasted of his exploits as a financier' and came off very believable. However I was easily convinced. I flew down to Miami where he was staying at the W hotel and living as though money was no object. And looking back now I know that was when his con game began. He rented a Rolls Royce Phantom and had 2 call girls on standby catering to his every need. He was very pre-occupied with himself. He had to get his nails and eyebrows done and it had to be meticulous. At least that was what I heard him tell one particular call girl as he asked for a good salon in the area. This guy made me believe he was a real international banker. He took me to a nightclub where he spent thousands of dollars on drinks and tipping the servers as if he owned a printing press for money. This guy knew how to party. He came back to Atlanta and bought my entire company lunch. He lived in luxuray at the Intercontinental Hotel in the Presidential Suite and everyone in the hotel knew who he was. We finally became conviced that he could help us raise capital for our projects. We wired money to Commercial Escrow Services which is owned by Toni Hardstone. Prior to sending the money during our due diligence she spoke praises of Russell Hearld but I will get back to that. The money was transfered and he swore that he was in the process of buying a house in Atlanta and would be living at the hotel until we closed. Fast forward 2 weeks and he left never to return. From that point the excuses came pouring in and at the end of each one it was always "The money is coming". We never received an instrument or anything that resembeled one. After several months we asked for our money and that was when Toni Hardstone barely knew the same guys she spoke praises of. She said she had no responsibility and that we should take our issues up with Hearld. We filed for and obtained a felony warrant against this fraudster. He is a fugitive from justice and is wanted nationwide. If you run across him or Asset Management LLC contact your local authorities and let them know he has a felony warrant issued for him out Fulton county Georgia. Stay away from this con man. He likes to party on your hard earned money. He lives in and out of hotels and likes the company of high priced call girls. He has one in every city he travels to. Help us bring him to justice. Lets get him behind bars where he belongs. |
