I was on Craigslist looking for housing. I came across a house that looked perfect for where I wanted to live and to have my kids visit..afer I hit the link to enquire about the house. I received an email with an application. Well, I filled out the application. The next day, I received a response with bold letters saying: YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED.well I thought it was wierd because I did tell them i had a fiance' which he didn't even wait for her application. well he gave me this story that this is based on trust and hope that I won't destroy the house.. I went by to look at the house which it had a for sale sign..but I thought this was legit because I have dealt with landlords by mail before.. He said he's on a missionary trip and he had to leave so he had to deal with this remotely. He said this place was 604 a month with a 400 dollar deposit. He said this in an email: September is ok with and the security deposit is $400 which is refundable on moving out. The money will be sent to us here through Western Union, once the payment is confirmed the shipping of the package commences immediately which will take 2-3 working days for it to be delivered to your door step. Remain blessed Mr. Scott and wife Mrs Janice Stevens. well, I never heard from him again, which I knew I was beat the same day I sent the money through Western Union. because of no response. this guy must be stopped, he is living off of his scams.
