Sears Obfuscation and lies. Hasn't shipped my sofas and they can't tell me why since 12/08/10 Internet

I boughton 12/08/10two Simmons London Leather sofas from a Sears online add that stated 'in stock and available to ship' in fact the add is still there. The add stated the delvery wouldbe between 12/13/10 and12/22/10. As time passed I e-mailed Sears customer service because I saw that nothing was happeng in shipping or tracking. I was repeatedly given assurances that they valued me as a customer and they were checking on it for me. On or about 12/22/10 I went to the Sears customer service chat line and spoke to 'Gordon', who after repeadley putting me on hold said that the furniture was actually being delivered that afternoon. Pleased, I called the recipient, who then proceeded to put her life on hold to wait for the delivery which never came. I then recalled the chat line and got 'Randy' who stated my sofas were in processing. I asked why. He said they had to verify my credit card. I told him the monies had been deducted immediatly by Sears and further more I had used PayPal so that was not true. He again said they were processing. I said explain processing. He said it is a three step program 1: credit card verification(Not applicable) 2: availabilty (their add states available and ready to ship...False Advertising/illegal ) and 3: (I have forgotten this excuse) I told him I wanted dates for shipping, tracking numbers and some one I could contact by name and e-mail. Again I was put on hold. He came back and said his supervison hadok'ed a 10%refund for my troubles.I again asked for names numbers and dates but got only a promise to contact me in 24 hrs. I said that was not good enough because as soon as our conversation ended I would have nothing no proof of his promises. So the upshot was that again I got a generic e-mail. It is now 1/01/11 still nothing shipped, still processing. After a few more e-mails to customer service I have been told to check with the company they bought the sofas from myself. Completely unacceptable. I have notified PayPal.
