Raises Prices AGAIN YUK!!!!!! BOO!!!!!!!

Seems Singsnap has raised their prices AGAIN. It advertises as a free site with "THOUSANDS" of songs to choose from, but that's not for the free members. Nope.

False advertising to start with. Terrible misleading. Making the public think there are thousands of songs to record FREE.

That is not the case.

First the site charged $7 per month. then it told long time members that they would be grandfathered into that $7 per month for loyalty. The price then went up to $12 for all others. Think the good times lasted for the long time members loyalty?

NOPE.

That ended when McGuire mysteriously made the thread disappear that spoke of the grandfathered members (poof) and increased the price to $12 for everyone.

Seems the only loyalty the man wants is to bend down and take it in the rear without questions asked.

Many many members on fixed income could barely manage the $12 per month and added themselves to a long long long growing list of sponsorship where members with extra cash could donate and sponsor someone for a month of gold.

NOW?

The price has once again gone up to $15 smackaroos per month. Except for one or two members that consistently take it up the wazoo, all other members complained of the increase.

Why the increase?

McGuire has once again been sued. In the past he's been sued by music companies because of stealing tracks without paying for them (read the internet, its all there) but now he's being sued along with 3 others (one former staff, one current member and one banned member).

Since this lawsuit has been simmering on the stove for nearly a year, (see Pacer) we think the man needs fast cash for his defense. It also appears that current member Shanda Lancaster is receiving legal aid late in the case and since she cannot afford legal aid to the tune of several hundred dollars a month, we must conclude McGuire is paying for her attorney.

Is it fair to raise the prices of Singsnap just because he needs the money for something else?

Heck no.

Members are going back to blue status meaning keeping a free account instead of paying for gold services. Good move.
