State Certified Contractors Itzick Kohn Beware Gold leaf contracting is now State Certified contracting and still up to no good Hollywood, Florida

I am adding my story here to the stories already posted about Gold Leaf contracting which is now State Certified contracting. I have had the same experience as other clients in that Itzick Kohn does not honor the terms of his contract, he demands money or he will stop work on your project. He was paid in full before our project was even half done. He lied about passing inspections make us feel like the project was advancing so he could collect more money and refused to give it back in accordance with the terms of the contract. He refused to work on our project until I removed a negative comment on the Service Magic website...which is a violation of my first amendment free speech rights and I have documentation that he has done this to other individuals. Our SIMPLE bathe remodel began in May 2011 and was finished, very poorly, at the end of September...5 Months our guest bath has been a mess. To top it off, when he said the he had completed his contractual work on the bathroom, the bathroom was full of concrete chunks, globs of plaster on the walls, bathtub and floor and most of all TRASH. Once I cleaned it and removed the debris, I found that our slate floor had been irreversibly damaged. Despite my warnings from the onset that the floor was a soft stone and needed to be protected, I would come home to see the rugs and towels i set out to cover the floor thrown in the corner by his workers. We have hired an attorney to assistance in communication with State Certified only to learn we were the second client that day who had contacted him about possible litigation against State Certified contracting. As recently as September 26, 2011 we contacted the State Certified Contracting through the Service Magic website. When we received and email from Stephanie regarding the "match", we asked her if State Certified Contracting was BBB accredited and she replied YES. Have you had any luck with Greg and his construction committments? We are out 30K, no luck at all.
