Texas Nissan of Grapevine Internet Sales are a scam. Wills Point, Texas

This morning early, I emailed their sales department about a used car my 18 year old daughter was interested in purchasing. It was found in their internet inventory. I was told it was still available. At 12:47 I called the internet manager Jennie Vandergriff again to advise her we were driving in to look at the car and would be there at approximately 2:00 pm. The dealership is about 60 miles away. She said that was fine. When we arrived at the Used Car Center, some poor salesman had to tell me that the car was sold at auction. A car fax indicates it was sold at auction on March 1st, or about 9 days ago. Ms. Vandergriff would not even come down to the sales center to attempt damage control. The Sales Manager finally came out at the last minute. Excuses were made, "she didn't know". Isn't that her job as internet manager to know what is on the internet? This is not my first rodeo, I have bought many, many cars. This was no accident or mistake. This is a lower priced bait car to get people in, in an attempt to upsell them. Jennie Vandergriff had more than one opportunity and 5 hours from my first phone call to check inventory. That car was gone and has been gone for several days, and rather than tell me, hoping I might be interested in another car, she LIED to get me in the dealership. This car was still on the internet at 5:30 today.
