Thurston and Associates Fake Process Servers/Scam Orlando, Florida

I and others have received numerous calls from this company, believed to be located in Florida, claiming to have "papers to serve", and wanting to verify last four of social security and address. Company intimates it is the "Process Servers", that legal papers are going to be filed, that a suit has been initiated against you. Refuses to divulge for whom they are serving process (that is, who is allegedly suing) until verification of address and social security number. A process server obviously would HAVE ones address. I have been told that this is an attempt to narrow down your social, etc, in order to perpetrate identity theft. Beware... I have filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Finance (which regulates Consumer Collection agencies) and with the Florida AG's office. I am currently filing with the FTC as well. Also, beware: these people seem to have an unlimited number of fake phone numbers (ones that will show up on your caller ID as Florida Call or NY Call or AZ call). They are very rude, wont answer questions- questions that any collector would answer in order to collect, e.g. who they are collecting for, what is there address for purposes of making payments, etc.
