Times Telecom charged me $75 for a service I did not and could not use Richmond, British Columbia

Times Telecom Complaint of Richmond, BC, Canada- Complaint about how they force people to pay a bill they don't owe. I am being forced to pay a $75 bill for a service that I've never used and for a situation that has been completely misrepresented and mishandled by this company's calling centre reps. When I signed up, the rep informed that to cancel within the 30 day trial, i would just call in. I did that and the rep told me in that phone call that the service got cancelled. A month later, I started to get an invoice. I called again and asked why and they told me, dont' worry, its cancelled just return the modem. So I returned the modem. And still they continue to invoice me. I explained to them that the modem never worked (did not operate as I could not get a dial tone on my home phone). And they can see that I have no activity on the account at all. They're arguing that there doesn't need to be any activity to be billed because I should have known that I was being billed on a monthly subscription basis. If the reps had told me that the modem needed to be returned otherwise I would be billed, then I would have returned the modem immediately. I have appealed this to the reps everytime they call but weeks later, I get the same story. The last time I appealed it, the rep hang up on me. The last time I received a call was a threat call - that they would ruin my credit bureau report if I don't pay. This company is clearly very unprofessional in its ways. Its very apparent with the call centre reps they hire, some of them cannot speak English at all. Also, when you call in, you'd get a voicemail saying a rep will be available in one minute. Well in reality, you have to wait about 10 to 15 minutes before you can get a hold of a live rep. I have tried asking the reps there to speak to a supervisor. They refuse to connect me to a supervisor. I expect this company to Reverse this bill completely and an apology and provide Better training with their staff. I ended up paying the $75 as they did not want to resolve the issue and threatend my credit rating if I did not pay
