Todd Bates solicited me by email about a new TURNKEY Guaranteed Website for real estate agents. For $3,000 dollars, his real estate internet experts, Joey & Jeff Bridges, will set up lead generating website for me. It was guaranteed to generate thirty five thousand dollars ($35,000) in sales commission income for me in the next 12 months or I get a complete refund.
As a bonus, since I personally worked for Todd Bates in the past, he would reduce the price to $2,000, with the same guarantee of a complete refund should I not make $35,000 in 12 months.
I took him up on this offer and paid him $2,000 in November / December 2009 for this arrangement.
The website was supposed to be totally customized for the towns that I work in. I had to supply them with ton of information about towns and stats and photos, etc. It took me a long time to compile all this info. But I did and I sent it to them.
This website was the biggest fiasco right from the start. I have the emails and responses to prove it. I spent a tremendous amount of time trying to fix spelling & grammar issues, formatting issues, things that made no sense at all in the text, etc...
The website was obviously slapped together quickly with little regard to quality. I was on the phone or emailing these idiots multiple times to fix things. This was NOT A TURNKEY SERVICE!!!!!!! The farthest thing from it.
It is now 12 months later and the website has produced not even one good lead, let alone $35,000 in commissions!!!
I have emailed Todd Bates many times over the months to collect my my money back complete refund. Todd Bates has ignored all my request.
Todd Bates is a con artist who should be arrested! Granted, I made the agreement with Todd Bates personally on the telephone, and it's Todd Bates who is refusing to honor his own guarantee, but I'm including the Bridges brothers by association.
Then there's the hundreds of dollars in pay per click charges that I paid and paid and paid to Google for the account that the Bridges brothers set up for me. The leads were so ridiculous from cities all over the united states. NONE of them ended up looking for a house in my town or anywhere close. Most of the "leads" gave bogus contact info but I got charged anyway. That's the pay per click works. Once someone clicks on my ad during a google search, I get charged (five to ten bucks). Then they end up on my "Guaranteed Website" - which failed to do it's job after I paid to get the lead there.
I am demanding that Todd Bates honor his guarantee and refund me the $2,000. Is Todd Bates a man of his word? Do Joey Bridges and Jeff Bridges want to be associated with a con artist? Is your word worth anything to you Todd Bates? You need to pay me back to clear your name and the names of Joey & Jeff Bridges. |
