Vintage Honda CB / Jeremy Frombach
I was completely ripped off lied to and deceived by this guy

About six months ago i saw an add on Craigslist for Vintage Honda CB motorcycles from the 70's, i thought they looked really cool, in the pictures it appeared they had tons of great bikes. So i called the number and got a hold of this guy Jeremy From.... Well i told him what i was looking for and said i'd like to come over and check out his bikes. But he said he would come and meet me on the bike that i liked from the add, a 1976 cb550f.
So he shows up and the bike looks great, im thinking wow this guys really nice to ride all the way to me! Right? So he tell me this bike isnt actually for sale but he's building one up that's "almost done" and "should be done in two weeks". I'm disappointed but i figure this guys OBVIOUSLY has tons of bikes and KNows what he's doing. Well, he did know what he was doing. He said the bike would be $3,500 and he needed a down payment to secure the bike. First he said he had to have at least $2,500 but I thought that sounded high, so when he said no less than 2 grand i agreed to pay it. Stupid. But how was i to know this guy was going to take off with my money?! After a week we're still talking and emailing and he's says it's coming along. After two weeks he says he needs the rest of the money before he can finish. When i ask why and say i want to come by and see the bike and how its going he say's he's gotta call me right back. That was the last time i heard from him. He won't answer calls and won't return voice mails or emails. I don't even know where his shop is. Some guys have said it's in burbank. The craigslist adds say they're from all over LA. This guy just took off with my down payment and i have no bike and no nothing to show for it. I started asking around and digging and first off i found out this guys name is actually Jeremy Frombach and second he'd already earned a real bad reputation.
I wish i had read a review such as this before i got involved with him. I've also meet people since then that have actually received a bike from Vintage Honda CB since then and these stories are not much better than my own with the exception that they at least received an ALMOST working bike!
The point is that you should seriously be aware about this guy's bad business.
Google him. I'm not the only person who's had a bad bad deal with this guy.
Hey man I'm in the same situation as you, this asshole ripped me off too. His name is Jeremy Frombach and there's a few reports out there on him. http://www.ripoffreport.com/motorcycles/jeremy-frombach/jeremy-frombach-vintage-honda-eeb35.htm and http://www.scaminformer.com/scam-report/jeremy-frombach-jeremy-frombach-vintage-honda-cb-have-money-to-give-away-c27539.html We should really do something about this. Give me your email so we can exchange information.
hey i've been doing a lot of research we really should get together and file a class action lawsuit
or try to go to court for this, this isn't right...
I also have his address, if anyone is interested.
I wish I'd read this sooner. Handed over $5, 500 in spring 2012 for a bike that was beautiful on day 1 and a rusted death trap catching fire at 65mph within three months. Would love to see this guy in court.
