HERE IS MY E-MAIL TO Walmart's My Family Mobile Customer Relations sent 3/25/11: This is my FINAL attempt at contacting you in the hopes that you will finally provide me with some satisfactory customer service...I e-mailed last Thursday, 3/17/11 and still am waiting to hear from you!
Here is my complaint once again, which has now turned into a LIST of complaints: On 1/31/11:
I called to cancel the third line on my account.
I was told by the customer care person that I would only be billed for three lines ONE FINAL TIME & after making ONE FINAL $111.35 payment, I would pay for TWO lines only after that. 2/17/11:
I paid the FINAL payment of $111.35 for three lines. My current bill, which is now past due is still $111.35, for three lines. 3/17/11:
I called to ask for an adjustment to my bill which was due on 3/19/11. That customer "care" person told me I would have to e-mail customer relations in order to have the adjustment made. I was told it would only take a couple days for it to be corrected. 3/17/11:
I e-mailed customer relations, explained the error & asked that my bill be adjusted BEFORE the due date in order for me to make the CORRECT payment before my service was suspended. I received a standard response stating I would hear back within 3 BUSINESS DAYS. 3/22/11:
It had been 4 BUSINESS DAYS with no response & I kept receiving recorded calls telling me to pay my bill before my service was suspended...so I called customer "care" again. This time I spoke with Mike F. Rep #14157915. I explained the situation again to him. He assured me customer relations would be in touch with me soon. He said to wait to hear from customer relations and told me he sent them an URGENT request, flagging my account, so I would get a rapid reponse, but stated that they are allowed 15 BUSINESS DAYS to respond....CONTRARY TO WHAT IS STATED ON THE AUTO-REPLY MESSAGE I RECEIVED!!!!! He also stated my remaining two lines would NOT be shut off until 3/28/11 in order to allow time to resolve the situation. 3/25/11:
My service was SUSPENDED, three days before I was promised....and still NO RESPONSE from
CUSTOMER RELATIONS!!!!! I again called customer "care", asking to speak with Mike so I would not have to explain the situation yet again...of course, it was not possible to reach him again. So I went through the whole story again with Carlos A. Rep #14157002. He proceeded to tell me I still would have to pay the entire $111.35 in order to restore my service. He also stated the cancelled line had been last used on 2/25/11...this is impossible...I do not even own that phone anymore! And according to my usage records on myfamilymobile.com it had not been used since the beginning of February (WHICH I ALREADY PAID FOR...technically, I paid for unlimited use of that line through 2/28/11!!!)
Again I was quoted your standard script...."e-mail customer relations & they will take care of you"....I explained that I had already done that with STILL NO RESPONSE! After becoming thoroughly angry & disgusted I managed to be transferred to Ed O., Rep #14157169, who identified himself as a supervisor. I ONCE AGAIN explained the problem and he then tried to tell me the last usage on the cancelled line was on the 2/28/11...and in the next sentence changed it to 2/29/11!!! Now I was completely fed up with being LIED to! I informed him that the previous rep had said 2/25, and now he himself had said two additional different dates...and I know for a fact it was not used on any of those dates! Again I was told there was nothing he could do...all adjustments/credits are done through the online customer service....his suggestion was to pay the bill for three lines ($111.35) again, and e-mail CUSTOMER RELATIONS to request a credit. This is absurd!!! I cannot even get a response after what has now been 7 BUSINESS DAYS...my phones which I use for business purposes are now shut off and I am VERY UPSET!!! It would be lovely to get a response and an adjustment to my bill...even better for my phones to be re-activated at no cost, but I'm not holding my breath.....I thought Wal-Mart was all about helping families save money. I see now, that is just another lie to add to this long list! I will be posting this complaint on RIPOFFREPORT.COM for all to see....maybe that will get your attention. If this issue gets resolved I will be happy to update my report to show that, but if not, hopefully it will save anyone else from being sucked into your SCAM.

Yeah, This walmart t-mobile stuff stinks. I also needed a credit to my phone as it had been stolen. It took over 3 weeks to get another up and going. The sims card that i bought from walmart...didnt get registered properly...I watched the man scan it everywhere. I had the walmart receipt showing every number on that friggen sims card. I put it in my phone and it did not work. Nobody could help me. So I had to buy another sims card. Not only am I out one sim card, and the cost, but also the three weeks that my phone should have been suspended but wasnt. I got ahold of a nasty representative who yelled at me. Im very sick and Im on chemo so I dont need the stress. However, Im not rich and I shouldnt have to pay for three weeks the phone did not get used. The rep at t-mobile said...I should have "Known" to tell them to suspend the account. I phone into them and tell them my phone has been stolen, what more should have I done? I guess it is like some magical cave, to get a credit, your supposed to figure out the "magic words" like, "OPEN SAYS ME!" I emailed this stupid address [email protected]. I think this email address is like, "The check is in the mail!", "I have some great swampland Id like to sell to ya!"

I signed up for the Family Mobile for myself and my husband at our local Walmart store. I had 10 days to cancel, which I did within the time allotted. Walmart refunded all my money and told me there would not be any charges. I just received a bill from Family Mobile in the amount of $46.76 which I am not liable for. Walmart did not tell me I had to call and cancel the account. Please look into this matter ASAP. Thank you.

I AM AT THE SAME STAND STILL WITH( MYFAMILYMOBILE)...THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR A MONTH OF SERVICE I HAD ALREADY CUT-OFF...I TRANSFERED MY NUMBERS TO OTHER PHONE SERVICES AND PAID FOR THE MONTH THAT I HAD JUST USED, BUT THAT DIDN'T COUNT I NEED TO PAY FOR THE MONTH AFTER I CUT THE SERVICE...WAL-MART SHOULD TAKE THEIR NAME OFF THIS COMPANY
BECAUSE THEY SURE ARE NOT USER FRINDLY ... THEY ARE GOING TO TURN MY ACCOUNT OVER TO A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR NONE PAYMENT...THE AMOUNT IS $80.71 ...AND THEIR PHONE SERVICE IS VERY BAD...I WAS NOT INFORMED TO CALL AND CANCEL MY SERVICE WHEN I PAID UP AND STOPPED USING THEIR SERVICE...THEY KNEW WHEN THEY TRANSFERED MY NUMBERS TO ANOTHER CARRIER...I CAN'T EVEN FINE THE WEB ADDRESS THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT FOR AN ADJUSTMENT...I DON'T OWE THEM ANYTHING !!!

I have called customer service for 3mos askin them to shut off one of my phone line they said they will make a note on my account but never did and when i call back the next month because im still payin for 2 lines, they tell me that thers no notes on my account, so i just got tried of talkin about it and paid the bill, i told them to shut off the second line..now im still paying for two lines..im only going to pay for one line this month. can you plz fixe my bill for one line

That's exactly what i am going though right now with wallmarts family T mobile plans, worth less! It been 21 days since my 14yr old talked me (dad) into this nightmare. We can't find a competant associate with any help, answers, or obvious training. So after 9 diferent returns to the store, 16 sim cards ( sevral stores have reported total boxes, cases found to be blank. factory error?) 3 differant phones, same model. and no one can get a phone to activate and stay on for more than 6 hrs at a time. To top things off, I tried to reach support. but to do so u must register with there my- T-moble, and use your ph.# to open dialog. Except it wont reconize her ph #!! When i demand my money back, they claimed it had been beyond the 15 days, of in service contract. YEH !! if it had been in service... I beg anyone thinking of walking into a walmart, for anything other than FRIUTS & VEGGIES. please save the time and anger... go to cricket.

I recieved a letter on Sept. 10th 2012, stating I owe $79.79 for my mobile phone I returned 3 days later as I had no singal where I live. So I spoke to Elizabeth #8221408 and chech this for me. She told me the phone number was never and the girl at Harbinson never told me that I had to cancel myself, She gave me a refund with no problem sl I thought. My account #859738317and phone # 803 955 6353 pin #7446. I am requesting no I am telling you that I owe nothing as I never could use the phone at all and I will never deal with people that do not have a clue what they are doing.

Received a text from 456 “Your Walmart Family Mobile bill is now available online”

Guess what? I am NOT on the Walmart Family Mobile Plan.

I never signed up for it!

I signed up with T-Mobile pay per minute!

I checked the Walmart site, put in my T-Mo number, and walmart said my number is not a family plan number!

So why is Walmart texting me that I have a bill with them?

Walmart is now spamming and scaring people into thinking they somehow signed up for big fat billing plan!
I am getting to old for this non-sense!

Act, 843432177- amt owed $183.18, I suspended 1 line for a month, then unsuspended it.they said they nitified notified me to reestablish line & I did, for a$50.00 credit.they did not, i ts not fair I shoud be chrged $50 extra, ill cancel & go back to straight talk if they don't resolve this.thx.

i am broke and i thought that the walmart famkily mobile plan would be the best option for me financially...until my phone was stolen and my bill keeps increasing and there is no relief and i thought it was strange to tell me that the CUSTOMER RELATIONS could not be contacted by phone only by EMAIL and if i did not get a response to call back. Needless to say this illusive Customer RELATIONS not very helpful actually i think we should all get together and lets go for a class action lawsuit on being charged without receiving service thats thef! is Ok I cold 4 times to this number, 1 877-760-8760 that Customer service they said to mi.. You service
is suspended 100% not by pay por no rice now I resived that bill 10/6/14 for $ 55, 66 I have no idea why that bill is to high for not service and suspended . Pleace I not give more details you will by resolved my credit or monthly bill tank you
