We Do Fly Great American Balloon Company We Never Leave the Ground Internet

I purchased 2 tickets in 2008 for a balloon ride as a special birthday gift for a relative. This was a very expensive splurge. I have now scheduled this flight 14 times. It is always cancelled. This morning was the most recent time. I had a sunrise flight scheduled. The winds were calm (2 - 3 MPH), no clouds, no precipitation predicted. Nothing. Just a perfect day. The flight was cancelled due to "Low visibility and heavy fog" Hardly. I have a pilot's license and know aviation weather. These people are just stealing money. One arm of this company sells the tickets while another does the flights. Of course when they never deliver on the promised flight the people who do the flight (We Do Fly) act as though they are totally separate from those who sold the tickets (Soaring Adventures of America). As such, they are so sorry but cannot do anything, etc. No refunds, no nothing. I understand these companies are actually owned by the same party. This is a BIG ripoff. Do not waste your money.

I was scheduled for a flight at sunrise tomorrow. They cancelled, not because of poor weather but due to insufficient passengers. So if you buy a nonrefundable ticket not only can they cancel because of weather but when they just don't feel like launching. This is a swindle! How do these people get away with this?
