we bought a home about 8 years ago, had a realtor help show us what was out there, he found a real nice used modular home that we could move onto our property.our old one was very old and to small, it was paid for, so was our big tripple stall garage, our lots were also free and clear. the realstate broker told us who to call about financing. we had dealings with wf before, and all went well so we thought ok. i guess the difference was we dealt with our local wf back then.

all of the dealings were over the phone, never saw this lady. she kept telling us this all looks good, we went ahead, she also told us that since everything was paid ror that made it even better.we asked many times how much the payments would be, because my husband works on a farm and not so many hours in the winter in northdakota. she kept saying yes around 300-400 a month. that was duable.

we found out the day of closing ( after we had house moved 25 miles and moved in ) that our interest rate would be 12.125% wow, but the good news or should i say false news was that after a year it would go down as long as we made payments on time, which we did.

i didnt look a year later to see if the interest did go down, i trusted them wrong thing to do. i like a dumb a** didnt look to see how much of our payment was principal and how much was interest, how stupid am i ?

our big problems started about 4 years ago, i got hurt at work, then my heart went kapoot so no more full time. i lost alot of time and when you only make 4.50 an hour it makes a difference, we got forclouser papers, so i went to some friends and borrowed the money to get caught up it was 6000.00 all went ok we stayed on track. the only thing was they added 13000.00 onto our loan, so now we owed more.

last april my husband had to have surgery to remove all of his teeth, due to radation from 10 years ago, so he lost a month of work, i called and told wf what was going on and that we would get caught up in may, the rep said ok. call back a couple of days latter to confurm still ok, i aslo asked about getting our interest lowered, was told no because we missed april payment.

icalled again in may and was told then not to make a payment because i couldnt make 2 that month. now we wasnt getting any kind of notices of late payments, or even a monthly statement, no phone calls it was like they wanred us to screw uo, that was the furthest thing from our minds, remember we had everything paid for before we got the house.

we at the ages of 68 & 65 even checked into the great reverse mortgage, we got the stall job for a year to finally find out, we cant get that either because we bought our modular from a private person and had it moved, what a crock of bs.

so in time i started callin everyother day, i even got the name of the head of wehm, called his office because i wasnt getting anyplace with even the bank here. the president of this bank couldnt help, every time they said to send or fax something i would only to find out the next day i needed more, and more, and more. i told the president here i felt i was being cheeted.

we made a large payment over a year ago of 7000.00 never credited to our account, and where it went. do they not keep records ? our payments have gone up from 347.00 a month to 931.00. we now owe more then we did 4 years ago, i just called wf and was told we get charged 15.00 a month for late fees how do they think any one can ever get out from under their thumb?

wouldnt it be better if they lowered payments instead of having so many empty homes? also why should the americn people bail out all the big companys and no one gives a damn about the little people? do we get pd vacations, big bonuses, and all the other perks? no, no

i also think there should be a class action law suit against wf anyone else feel the same?
