| Advanced Media Publications LLC Paid $900 to Advanced Media Publications LLC for an ad in magazine to go out to golf country clubs. This did not happ |

Our farm was approached by Advanced Media Publications, LLC to do an ad in the Golf And Leisure magazine, that was to go out to several country clubs in our area over the phone. The country clubs we agreed to were listed under the "Country Club List: Dayton 1." The Golf and Leisure magazine was said to be going out at the beginning of this year 2011. We agreed to do a full page add. A week later we were called again and asked if we wanted to take the inside front cover of the magazine as someone dropped out last minute. They gave us a "great deal" of $900 instead of the usual $1200. We agreed to do this. After we paid to do this ad, correspondence became increasingly difficult. We kept getting sent (via email) the wrong set Country Club List that our ad was going to be sent to. We called to tell them, no this was not what we were promised over the phone. After talking to 3-4 different people, someone said we were on the "Dayton 1" set of clubs. After that was settled, (it took several tries to get that simple issue straightened out) we wrote out all the information we wanted our ad to say and also sent in a picture. The ad that was made up and sent to us via email looked great. We were pleased with how it looked and we looked forward for Golf And Leisure magazine to go out to the country clubs. Beginning of the year came and went and we still had no proof of a magazine. In the beginning of April 2011, we finally received our copy of the magazine. It looked very nice, and put together. We were wondering if our copy of the magazine just got sent to us late and that the country clubs already had the Golf and Leisure magazine in stock, so we called a country club that the magazine was suppose to be in at the beginning of the year. This country club said they did not carry the magazine, nor they had never heard of it. So we called the over country clubs we were promised that the magazine would go out to and all the clubs said the same thing, we don't have it and we have never heard of it. We even called the other set of clubs, they they said the same thing, no we don't have it. After finding this out we had called and left a message saying that we were really pleased with the whole magazine but just wondering when the Golf and Leisure magazine would go out to these country clubs we were promised. Never heard from them. A couple of weeks later we called Advanced Media Publications again and left yet another message. Never got a response. We looked up online and we found some other numbers for Advanced Media Publications so we called every number we found and left more messages. We emailed and asked for a response via email or phone, still no response. We called back again stating if we did not get a response either by phone or email we would be taking legal action. We now know this is not a legitimate business. We will be calling other companies that did ads in the magazine to let them know what we are experiencing. We will be taking legal action, especially if we don't hear anything back from Advanced
Media Publications, LLC. Which after months of not getting in contact with someone, we know no one will actually take the time to call us back and explain what is going on. |
