| One of my two central air conditioning systems in my home continually froze up. I called All American Air, an air conditioning company, who came out and gave me a song and a dance as to what was wrong. I paid the man the money not knowing whether it was or was not true. Being a senior citizen I have to rely on others more heavily of course. It turns out that didn’t take care of the problem at all and I had to call them back within a month or two for the same problem. This time I got a different technician and a different story and I ended up paying again. This went on over a period of six months with 5 or 6 different visits with 5 or 6 different technicians. I paid each and every one of these and each time they gave me a different story. I paid in almost a $1,000.00 to these idiots, which is clear now to me it was that they were scamming me each and every time. I called the company and spoke to the manager who told me that they did nothing improper, I said to them, you’ve had 5 or 6 different technicians out here on the same problem with the same system over a period of six months, charging me and telling me there is something different wrong each time. None of the items that they told me needed to be fixed were in fact problems that needed to be fixed. After calling a new air conditioning company and having them come out, we found a missing O-ring in the freon filler tube cap on the air conditioner. Once replacing this 5 cent missing part, the Freon stopped leaking and everything was normal. This company, in my opinion, deliberately set me up to pay out all kinds of money on all these problems for a freezing up air conditioner which was in fact nothing more than a leak that they created in the first place. They could not have taken the cap off and charged the air conditioner system without noticing that the O-ring was missing. They did so on 5 or 6 occasions, so they are either completely incompetent or stupid or they were deliberately defrauding a senior citizen. I will let the reader of this decide for themselves, which is the case. In a conversation with the manager, they told me they would set aside the last two checks that I had given them, which I stopped payment on when I found out from a different air conditioning guy what the real problem was. However, six months later they tried to deposit these checks after they gave me their word they would not do that if I didn’t file complaints. They sent me nasty letter, I responded with copies of my letters, they gave this to a lawyer and they are going after me for three times the face value of the checks on a bad check charge. This company is despicable, they defraud people, they lie to people and they cheat people. Their own technician told me that the guy who previously came from the same company lied to me on three different occasions and that everything he told me was in fact untrue and not to be believed. When two different technicians call each other liars from the same company, you got a serious problem. I think the truth may have come out there. Do not hire All American Air and Electric in Ocala, Floirda under any circumstances. These people lie, they cheat, and they defraud the general public and worse senior citizens. This company breaks its promise, does terrible work at best, does not stand behind any work they do, scams hard working individuals out of their money and the general public needs to be aware of this company and its tactics so as other people don’t get caught up by their scam. |
