The Body and Soul Spa of Scottsdale got the worst reviews with Yahoo, Yelp, Google (please check each site to confirm.).

They gave themselves 10 positive reviews in 2 days. This is a disgrace. They shouldn't be in business.

Terrible customer service and facility is not that good for the price you pay. They made me wait for an hour before telling me the therapist was running late. What a joke. There are too many nice spa in Scottsdale, don't waste your money at this one.

Horrible customer service such as communication and booking! I tried several times to book an appointment and was confirmed on a different day had to reschedule and they needed to change that day! What happened to this company? I guess they really don't want the business.

Never going back! I should have canceled my appointment's when I kept receiving calls from the spa asking if I could change my appointment times since this clearly showed how unorganized they are. When my masseuse came to get me she had to put me in a robe since the front desk didn't. After my massage I was suppose to get a facial. I didn't know that I had to wait a whole HOUR. When I went to complain, come to find out that the so called new owner made my appointments. That is just WRONG! If you do not have the availability, then be honest. I could have came another day but now I will never go back.

My treatment time was changed a number of times...by the spa. then on the day of my treatment was not in the system and i had to come back 2 hours later when a therapist was avalible. During my micro, the therapist told me she had never used that type of machine before. it left light scratches on my face...and my neck was not even treated. I was supposed to also, have a light peel, but the therapist did not know how to do the peel for the brand format...I had a mask instead. To top it off, the owner walked in right of the middle of my treatment to ask the therapist a few questions and stock some supplies. It was a strange experince and over priced for the quality of the treatments.

The receptionist was not very professional, no apology and told me some personal information that was not needed.



I went forward with the massage, but the check out was stressful. I completely lost my relaxed state. The receptionist had not heard of the promo offer I booked under and I had to show her proof of the email I received on my iphone. I also had issues using my spa finder gift card. The resolution was to come back the next day for the facial and the more experienced receptionist would complete my transaction with the spa finder gift card.



Thank goodness for this receptionist who apologized to me many times for the mix up, otherwise, I would have given the spa a much lower rating.



The massage and facial were good; too bad the customer service ruined the experience.

I bought a coupon from Snag and Save for a $44.00 anti-aging facial and the facial was not even worth that! I made an appointment for this kind of facial, and I am not sure what I received? I also believe that the lady who did my facial was not even an aesthetician. She said they were over booked and that she was sorry. She would put something on my face and then walk out of the room and not come back for ten minutes. The facial was supposed to be an hour and it probably was only a total of fifteen minutes. And when she was in the room she was only trying to sell me other services. I would never go back.

I would not frequent this spa again because of the owner, Yasmin. She has a very ugly attitude toward her customers, and from what I believe I heard in the spa, does not treat her employees well either.



My husband bought me a 30 minute Microdermabrasion treatment for Mother's Day for $49 on the Daily Deal. We were gone most of the summer and when we returned, the certificate was a little over a week past expiration. When I called the spa to see if I could still use the certificate, Yasmin became rather irrate, telling me that I would have to call the Daily Deal, and that she couldn't do anything about it. She said she wouldn't get her money if I used the certificate, and even if she did get her money, it would only be $20, which was not a good deal for her.



I called the Daily Deal, who told me that she got paid for the service when the certificate was purchased, not when it was used.



I made the appointment anyway...even though she said she had to charge me an extra $20 on top of the certificate. The person who did my treatment was lovely and the treatment itself was nice.



I will not, however, return to the spa because I don't want to put money in the pockets of someone who doesn't value a customer. If the Daily Deal is such a bad deal for her, then why did she sign on with the service? Also, when a customer calls, wouldn't she benefit from actually being nice? I told her I was looking for a place to get some regular facial treatments done, but apparantly that did not matter to her. Also, there were some looks exchanged between two of the girls there that told me all I needed to know about Yasmin as an employer. They said they only get a very small portion of the cost of the treatment.



Stay away from this spa!

Don't waste your money on this place! I got a deal from the snag and save website for a one hour therapeutic massage for this place and it was the worst massage I have ever gotten! Before I bought my massage I looked the place up and read all of the glowing reviews, but when I was there I saw at their front desk a sign that said they would give you gift certificates for writing them good reviews! Well just so you know my massage started about five minutes late because the receptionist was on the phone talking to someone about decorating her backyard and never came back to check on me. I was the only person at the spa so my massage therapist eventually came and got me. She didn't even look at the form I filled out or ask me what areas I wanted her to focus on or what kind of pressure I wanted, etc. (something that I have been asked at every other massage I have ever gotten). I don't know if my massage therapist didn't want to be at work that day or what but what I got was barely a massage, and to be honest I'm not sure she really knew what she was doing. Finally, when she was done I looked at the clock and she finished 10 minutes early! Again it was the worst massage experience I ever had! Don't waste your money at this place!

This place is a Rip- Off Tried to use my gift card and was told it was only good for one year. They do not tell you this when you purchase and it is not cited on the card or in their brochure. I will report this to the BBB. There are plenty of spas in AZ so choose another one !

These guys have no idea how to create a professional relaxing environment. I have been to this spa twice and was treated poorly and had to wait almost an hour for a therapist to show up and they didn't even mention anything when I left. No apologies. The service from the owner to the staff is poor. For the prices of their service, I would recommend going to another spa.
