Box Office Ticket Sales Fraud and ripoff Chicago, Illinois
14th of Feb, 2013 by User698597
This ticket re-seller's website pretended to be the Academy of Music Box Office. I was charged $167.67 for two tickets that had a face value of $45.00 each. I was told I would be able to print the tickets from my e-mail, but later received a phone call stating that the tickets were being held at the box office. I was never sent any written confirmation of the transaction or informed that they were a third party broker. They never informed me of their "policies" because this was a phone transaction. When I contacted the real Academy of Music to dispute the charge, I was informed that I was scammed by a third party ticket broker. Box Office Ticket Sales charged me an overage of $65.67 and now I am in a dispute with my credit card company. Box Office Ticket Sales should be exposed and put out of business for their fraudulent practices.
