Edible Arrangements Scam & Frauding Customers Houston, Texas
7th of May, 2011 by User111360
This not about the Edible Arrangement that never arrived, nor is it about the $150 value that was never refunded to the sender, ... this is about the Principle of the matter. This location is stealing money from customers by taking orders, getting paid, and never delivering the gifts. This is a total scam and they should be shut down. I have complained about this on the locations and I am shocked to see so many other reviews identical to mine. It makes me wonder how many people are unaware or just haven't complained. This issue began on December 23, 2010 when we were suppose to receive a wonderful Edible Arrangement for a Christmas gift, sent my by husband's good friend. There was a note on our door that said 'Sorry We Missed You' and to give them a call. When I called that day, the young man said he had no idea how the owner (Patty) wanted to handle the holiday deliveries, he would have her call me. The next day I called again and spoke to a young girl named Michelle, who said the computer said our order had already been delivered. She was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. After a two weeks we still had not received a call from the owner, I decided to call the Edible Arrangements Corporate office and complain. They were very nice and sounded like they were going to resolve the issue. The day I received a call from the owner of the Edible Arrangements 1960 Houston TX location. The owner, Patty, made excuses for her employees, the arrangement that never arrived, and offered no solutions. In fact she even complained how busy she was and barely had time to see her family. She also complained how expensive the arrangements were to make. She excused her employees behavior as just being young. She was rude and unprofessional and finally I had to hang up the phone. She is a thief and I wonder how much money she makes from stealing. I called the Edible Arrangements Corporate office again and told them I never wanted to hear from that woman again. They were extremely nice again and then did nothing. Perhaps they are okay with how this location runs their business. In fact I wonder now how many times they have ripped people off. Who would know? I wish I knew what else to do to get satisfaction on this. The Edible Arrangements Corporate Office needs to make this right by refunding our friend who sent the gift. What should have been a pleasant moment just became an unpleasant experience. DO NOT order gifts from Edible arrangements, if you do get ripped off, the corporate office will do nothing to resolve the issue. They are making money off gifts they never send, in my opinion, this is quite the Edible Arrangements SCAM. This company should be reported to the news, this appears to be common practice.
